Occupational therapist with 7 years of clinical experience in inpatient rehabilitation and specialized training as a Certified Fall Prevention Specialist, Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist, and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist. My professional focus is helping older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe, independent, and engaged in their homes through evidence-based occupational therapy, home accessibility, universal design, and collaborative care. I have collaborated with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop hundreds of discharge plans supporting safe transitions home and long-term independence. I joined the NAHB community to bridge occupational therapy and residential construction by bringing a clinical perspective to aging-in-place projects while expanding my knowledge of residential construction and home modification. I welcome opportunities to learn, collaborate, and contribute an occupational therapy perspective to aging-in-place projects.
